美国编舞家格伦•泰特利（1926-2007）于1974年编创舞剧《春之祭》。
他曾说过：斯特拉文斯基的《春之祭》是震撼人心的大地音乐。它向我诉说的不仅是俄罗斯的原始部族，还有我们祖先的神话和信仰的起源。季节更替，当地球似乎死得连一片叶子都没有了，人类把罪过都堆在一个人身上，一个被选中的牺牲者，他被杀死，被埋进地里，以仪式哀悼，然后奇迹般地重生，给大地带来了生命的礼物。
斯特拉文斯基的力作配乐及其固有的原始传说激发了无数舞蹈作品的灵感。泰特利在《春之祭》中融入了他个人的舞蹈语言，这种语言融合了芭蕾和现代舞的技巧，揭示了一个全新的动作词汇概念，并提供了更大范围的动态和形象。这种风格最适合斯特拉文斯基音乐的内在力量。

American choreographer Glen Tetley (1926-2007) created The Rite of Spring in 1974. 
In his own words, Tetley has said:
Stravinsky's Rite of Spring is earth music of profoundly moving power. It speaks to me not only of pagan Russia but our ancestral beginnings of myth and belief when the seasons changed. When earth seemed to die without a leaf to survive, man heaped the sins of blame on a single person, a chosen victim who was killed and then buried within the earth, ritually mourned and then miraculously reborn bringing the gift of new life to the earth.
Stravinsky's tour de force score and its inherent primitive legend have inspired countless dance productions. Tetley brings to The Rite of Spring his personal choreographic language, one that fuses ballet and American modern dance techniques and that reveals an entirely new concept in movement vocabulary and provides for a greater range ofdynamics and images. This style is ideally suited to the visceral physical power of the Stravinsky score.
The theme of Tetley's Rite of Spring, write English dance critics Mary Clarke and Clement Crisp is "the sacrifice of a chosen youth who is the incarnation of men's hopes and sins and sufferings. He is killed as a scapegoat, but is reborn with the spring and represents the hope and promise of a new life…In a final coup de theatre he is whisked heavenward in an explosion of energy.”

《姑苏烟雨情》Misty Rain in Jiangnan

几场梅雨，几缕微风，远看水乡飘渺，近听落雨无声，一座姑苏城，半部江南诗。
In the intermittent drizzles and gentle breezes, from afar one looks at the town in misty and at close-up one listens to the silent falling of raindrops. The city of Suzhou speaks a romantic poem of Jiangnan.

《惊梦》The Dream Interrupted

故事取材于昆曲《牡丹亭》，本作以芭蕾的形式，展现杜丽娘与柳梦梅亦真亦幻的爱情故事。
Inspired by and based on the Kunqu opera Peony Pavilion, it tells the true while seemingly unreal love story between Du Liniang and Liu Mengmei.

《仙女》双人舞 La Sylphide Pas de Duex
选自传统古典浪漫主义芭蕾舞剧《仙女》，这部丹麦学派的古典芭蕾脚步灵动、舞姿轻盈，非常考验舞者的功力。
Selected from the traditional classical romantic ballet La Sylphide, which of the Danish school, it tests the dancers' skills.

苏州芭蕾舞团

苏州芭蕾舞团成立于2007年，是苏州文化投资发展集团旗下全资子公司，也是江苏省唯一的专业芭蕾舞团，演员均来自国内外一流芭蕾院团。
成立以来，苏芭以“国内一流、国际知名”为发展定位，坚持以人民为中心的创作导向，以推出更多优秀作品和人才、增强人民精神力量为目标，先后创排了《罗密欧与朱丽叶》《西施》《胡桃夹子》《唐寅》《天鹅湖》《我的名字叫丁香》《壮丽的云》等十部大型舞剧；创作了多部富有特色的现当代芭蕾及展现苏州风韵的舞蹈作品。在传承中，苏芭用创新理念打造出别具一格的“江南芭蕾”。
2022年，苏州芭蕾舞团全新推出一年一度“苏州国际芭蕾艺术节”，于每年金秋十月盛大开幕。艺术节集合浪漫芭蕾、古典芭蕾、现代芭蕾等不同艺术风格的精彩剧目，涵盖演出、芭蕾大师课、高峰论坛等不同板块，特邀全球名家名团汇聚一堂，以芭蕾为桥梁，打造艺术的盛会！

Suzhou Ballet Theatre

Founded in 2007, Suzhou Ballet Theatre (SBT) is the only professional ballet company in Jiangsu Province. With exceptional talent from first-class ballet companies at home and abroad, SBT is considered as one of the most dynamic ballet companies in China.
Since its establishment, the Company has been working relentlessly to produce innovative programs, including adaptations of full-length classics: Romeo and Juliet, Coppélia, The Nutcracker, Carmen, Cinderella, Swan Lake; acclaimed original productions: Legend of Beauty, Tang Yin, My Name is Ding Xiang, Glorious Clouds; licensed stage performance of The Rite of Spring by Glen Tetley Legacy; and striking contemporary works with distinctive Suzhou charm. Throughout the curation of these repertoire, the Company is devoted to presenting and extending a unique style with regional features named “Jiangnan Ballet”.
In 2022, with the aim to further popularize ballet arts, the Company planned and operated the 1st Suzhou International Ballet Festival, covering Chinese and foreign master lectures, summit forums as well as performances ranging from classic ballet, modern ballet to contemporary dance. This ballet festival, offering an opportunity to enjoy the art as well as a platform where our ideas and wisdoms can be shared, is scheduled to give its grand opening each autumn in October.
As a national professional ballet company, SBT was launched with the mission of actively engaging and inspiring local communities. By two major educational programs Ballet in Suzhou and Dance Master Series, the Company has fully fulfilled its mission with overwhelming acceptance and continuous support from local citizens.
Since 2014, several ballet works of SBT have been selected into projects funded by national, provincial and municipal art funds, enjoying wide recognition from experts in relevant fields. With national tasks and invitations from overseas authorities, the Company has carried out international cultural exchange activities in more than 10 countries and regions around the world, including China, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore, Poland, Qatar, Bahrain, Turkey, Latvia, Oman and etc.
